Story behind the photo

The Persian ancient architecture is the central element of Mirrors in Mahan. The photo is made at the shrine of the city Mahan, Iran. The shrine's walls, the surrounding trees and visitors reflect in the pool of the shrine. Making this photo warm and eye-catching.

I visited this shrine for the first time in the morning. The light wasn't in the correct position at that time of the day. I came back in the afternoon at the moment the light was as I wanted it to be. Still, it took quite a while before the water of the pool was equal and clear. And people with matching colours of clothing were in the right position to make the composition complete.
