Evening Magic

Story behind the photo

Evening Magic is made at the end of the day, right after sunset in Tehran, Iran. The photo is made from the Milad tower, a big television tower overlooking the city. When I visited Tehran for the first time I was in the morning at the Milad tower. At that time of the day, the light is bright and showed Tehran in a grey way. The concrete of the houses showed little sparkle of life. I decide to go back at the end of the day, to make another shot under different circumstances of light. It took me a year to get the right weather conditions to make Evening Magic. Luckily patience was rewarded. Evening Magic shows a warm, symmetrical city view. Lighted up by the last rays of sunlight and city lights.
